Acceptance of the terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Serena app (hereinafter "the App"), you agree to be bound by these terms of use. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the App.

Description of the service

Serena is an iOS mental wellness app that offers:

• Daily mood tracking
• A guided and free-form journal with multimedia support (text, photos, audio)
• Guided breathing exercises (cardiac coherence, 4-7-8 breathing, box breathing, etc.)
• Personalized wellness programs (stress management, sleep improvement, etc.)
• A library of science-based articles on mental health
• Psychological support resources (helplines)

Subscription model

Free version

The free version of Serena includes limited access to the core features:

• Selected breathing techniques
• Journal (limited features)
• Basic mood tracking
• Access to blog articles

Premium subscription

The Premium subscription unlocks full access to all features:

• All breathing techniques
• Full journal with multimedia
• Personalized wellness programs
• Advanced statistics and insights
• Export your data as a PDF
• iOS widget
• Dark mode and themes

Pricing

• Monthly subscription: €5.99/month
• Annual subscription: €24.99/year with a 3-day free trial (approximately €2.08/month)

Prices may vary depending on your country of residence and are displayed in the App Store before any purchase.

Automatic renewal and cancellation

Automatic renewal: The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (monthly or annual), unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

How to cancel:

1. Open your iPhone Settings
2. Tap your name (Apple ID) at the top
3. Select Subscriptions
4. Tap Serena
5. Tap Cancel Subscription

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep access to Premium features until that date.

Payments and refunds

All payments are processed by Apple via the App Store. Serena does not have access to your payment information.

Refund policy: Refunds are managed exclusively by Apple in accordance with their policy. To request a refund:

1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
2. Sign in with your Apple ID
3. Select the relevant purchase and follow the instructions

Use of the app

By using the App, you agree to:

• Use the App for personal and non-commercial purposes
• Not attempt to modify, decompile, disassemble, or reverse-engineer the App
• Not use the App in a manner contrary to applicable laws
• Be at least 13 years old (or have the consent of a parent/legal guardian)

Intellectual property

The Serena App, its content (articles, exercises, programs), its illustrations, its design, and its source code are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, or use is strictly prohibited.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law:

• The App is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied
• We do not warrant that the App will be free of errors, interruptions, or defects
• We disclaim all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the use of the App
• Results obtained with the App may vary from one person to another
• The App cannot replace professional medical or psychological care

Changes to the terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms of use at any time. Changes take effect as soon as they are published on this page. Continued use of the App after any change constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access in the event of a violation of these terms.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms of use are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute regarding the interpretation or performance of these terms, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.
