Breaz Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-18

Breaz is operated by Makria Agency (Mohamed Makria). Contact: m.makria@gmail.com.

This page describes exactly what data Breaz collects, why, and who else can see it.

TL;DR

  • No account, no email, no password.
  • Your breathing sessions stay on your iPhone. We never see them.
  • Two third-party SDKs (Meta and TikTok) measure where downloads come from. Both are gated by the iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt — if you decline, they collect nothing.
  • One in-app purchase (Breaz Pro Lifetime, $4.99). Apple processes payment, we never see your card.

What Breaz stores on your iPhone (local only)

  • Your breathing session history (technique, duration, date)
  • Your preferences (technique, visualizer, sound, haptics, appearance)
  • Your Pro purchase status

This data lives in SwiftData on your device. It is never uploaded to a server we control. Deleting the app deletes everything instantly.

Third-party SDKs

Meta (Facebook Business) SDK

  • Provided by: Meta Platforms, Inc.
  • Why: To measure App Store installs and in-app purchases attributable to Meta ads we may run.
  • What it collects (only after you grant the iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt):
    • Your iPhone advertising identifier (IDFA)
    • App install event
    • Paywall view event
    • Purchase event (the fact a purchase happened, not your payment details)
  • If you decline the ATT prompt: Meta SDK collects nothing.
  • Meta's privacy policy: facebook.com/about/privacy

TikTok (Business / Events) SDK

  • Provided by: TikTok Pte. Ltd.
  • Why: To measure App Store installs and in-app purchases attributable to TikTok ads we may run.
  • What it collects (only after you grant the iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt):
    • Your iPhone advertising identifier (IDFA)
    • App install event
    • Paywall view event
    • Purchase event
  • If you decline the ATT prompt: TikTok SDK collects nothing.
  • TikTok's privacy policy: tiktok.com/legal/privacy-policy

Apple StoreKit (in-app purchases)

When you buy Breaz Pro, Apple processes the payment. We never see your card or Apple ID. We do receive a confirmation that the purchase happened, so we can unlock Pro features for you. Apple's privacy policy: apple.com/legal/privacy

Crash and performance data

Meta and TikTok SDKs also collect anonymous crash and performance data (e.g. "the app crashed on session start"). This helps us fix bugs. It is not linked to your identity.

Tracking and your control

"Tracking" in iOS means linking your activity in Breaz to your activity in other apps and websites. The Meta and TikTok SDKs do this when you grant the ATT prompt. You can:

  • Decline the ATT prompt when it appears (both SDKs then collect nothing).
  • Change your mind anytime: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Breaz → toggle off.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Because Breaz collects no personal data we can identify (no name, no email, no account), we have nothing to delete or return when you ask — your data lives only on your iPhone.

For tracking data that may have been shared with Meta or TikTok, contact them directly using the links above. They process and store this data, not us.

Children

Breaz is rated 9+ on the App Store. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app has no chat, no social features, and no user-generated content.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything material, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and post the change on this page. Breaking changes (e.g. adding a new SDK) will also be announced in the app's "What's New" on the App Store.
